A Family Friend
True Story. . .
I will never forget my own wedding. Everything was beautiful & perfect until I got my pictures. See, the mistake that I made was that one of our family friends told us that he was going to do our pictures as a wedding gift and we accepted. But what I did not keep in mind was that this was not something he did as a profession or for a living. Our pictures came out dark, motion/blurry, expressionless and it did not tell the story of my wedding. I was devastated, because there was nothing that I would be able to frame or show to my kids.

Your engagement portraits are an important part of your wedding story. They can be used in your local newspaper announcement, as wedding gifts and invitations. I sometimes, per request, include certain photos in the actual wedding album.
A Signature portrait is a wonderful idea that includes a 11x14 print surrounded by a 20x24 mat. This print can be displayed at your wedding, reception or both with an invitation for friends and relatives to sign and print their best wishes on the surrounding mat. After the wedding, you can then mount the portrait and mat under glass in a beautiful frame.
